Walking on Borders project - discovering the differences between Eastern and Western Europe

I have just returned from "Walking on Borders" project where 12 people from France, Portugal and Latvia met in Poland (supported by Youth in Action) to make a trip on the historical border of Eastern and Western Europe to discover the differences between these parts of Europe. Mostly we were traveling in small teams of 3 people - hitchhiking, taking buses and trains (in situations when nobody want's to take us in cars), staying at couchsurfers places and interviewing people we met on our way. We met thousands of people, and in fact, we really discovered a lot. Poland,Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia, Italy.

Every small team had different routes, but every 2 days small teams met to switch their travel buddies. The project was initiated by French youngsters - I truly love all the hard planning work they did for the project and I'm glad I was a part of it.

My personal trip includes 2 homeless nights, 2 magical nights in a forest with drinking water from river, no tent and no knife, surprisingly amazing houses and hosts and a lot more...  You will find my personal story sometime soon in Cross the Border section. My route looked like this:

Getting back to the official story - check out the trailer of upcoming movie that should be online in October:
